"We have sold/purchased numerous properties over the years. Amongst all of those, we have never had as positive an experience with a Real Estate Agent as we did with Cristen Farnham! Because of unexpected circumstances we decided to sell our winter home in La Quinta last March. We were unable (Covid) to travel to La Quinta and – after interviewing 3 other agents - retained Cristen to list and sell our place. We didn’t make it easy for her. We had just had the home renovated and all of our furniture was stored in the garage. Cristen agreed, as part of her retainer, to move it back in and stage the home in our absence. She even enlisted her family members to help 😊. She organized, staged, listed and sold the house (above asking) within 10 days! We don’t want to dwell on the “happy” sale price because that was not what impressed us most about Cristen. From the outset she was professional, engaging, warm, forthright and honest with us. She patiently dealt with all our concerns/questions and thoroughly canvassed all of the competing bids and alternative scenarios to help us arrive at the best possible alternative (not necessarily the highest) from our perspective; most markedly, that did not include the bid that would have brought her the highest commission. There is no doubt in our minds that Cristen had our interests foremost in her mind. We felt like it was our own daughter looking after our concerns! This remarkable woman personified all that one could expect from a caring professional. When we get back to the desert and get re-established, Cristen will part of our plans.
